Elinor Yakobi is an esteemed attorney in GCB's Labor Law Department, bringing rich experience in guiding and representing major employers and prominent organizations in the economy. Elinor began her career interning at Rubin-Shmuelevich, acquiring tools and skills in employer representation. She later served as an attorney at Sigal Pa'il & Co., specializing in Collective Labor Law and gaining experience guiding large corporations and workers' committees alike. Elinor joined GCB in 2021 and has since been an integral part of the Labor Law Department, implementing her knowledge and experience for the benefit of the firm's clients.
Education
Elinor is a graduate of the College of Management (LL.B, Class of 2016). Her area of expertise involves comprehensive guidance of employers throughout the entire employment lifecycle—from recruitment and drafting employment agreements, through hearing procedures and termination, to complex rights calculations.
Professional experience
As part of her work at the firm, Elinor provides ongoing guidance to employers and represents them in complex legal proceedings in Labor Courts. Her professional experience includes handling regulatory issues vis-à-vis State authorities, including guidance during Ministry of Labor audits within administrative proceedings. Additionally, Elinor has experience guiding termination procedures vis-à-vis the Commissioner of the Employment of Women Law and Employment Committees, with a deep understanding of the legal and procedural requirements in these proceedings.
